June is almost over! Can you believe it!! Next weekend will be the 4th of July!
On that note … the Pool will be CLOSED on the actual July 4r Holiday (Saturday), but will be open again for Sunday hours on the 5th
The schedule for the coming week is posted here for your reference. We have a week-long break between Swim Lesson Sessions, so get those lap swim reservations made either by calling the Pool or making reservations online at www.reatertoledopool.org
!! Note in the schedule that there are FREE Rec Swim times every day we’re open! And beginning after Summer Fest weekend, we plan to be open every day for Rec Swim. Keep following us here or on Facebook for schedule updates as the Summer progresses!! Plan to make a trip to use the Pool soon!! Come make a SPLASH!
Parents, if you want to get your kids into the next session of Swim Lessons, this coming week is registration. Registration needs to be done in person at the Pool and all fees paid in advance. The Staff at the Pool is prepared to provide classes at each level participants need. Classes will begin on Monday July 6th and run through Thursday July 16th — 4 lessons each week. Plans are to run an additional 2-week session in August. Check out the flyer for additional details!
We’ve had some responses for our call for lifeguards and swim instructors — we had a new Swim Lesson Instructor join our team for this last session of Swim Lessons and we will be adding a new lifeguard after the 4th of July weekend. We picked up another staff member for Front Desk duties as well, but we are still in need of additional lifeguards. We have had several candidates apply but they have not been successful passing the initial tests for the American Red Cross Lifeguard training. If you are interested, or know someone who likes to swim and might be interested … applications can be picked up at the Pool.
