Greater Toledo Pool Patrons —
I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July weekend and is celebrating safely! The week ahead will be busy at the Pool. Take a look at the schedule so you have an idea of when different activities are happening. We start our 2nd Session of Summer Swim Lessons this week with both morning and afternoon classes. Lap Swim times are condensed because of the Swim Lesson times, but there are plenty of time available … and it’s always a possibility of sharing a lane — just ask at the desk and we’ll double check with the patrons with reservations already in the water. Reminder: We are CLOSED for the Summer Fest Weekend – both Saturday and Sunday! Get out and enjoy this Toledo Summertime tradition at Memorial Field.
Missing that swimsuit or T-shirt? Maybe you (or you kids) left it at the Pool!! Our bins of “Lost and Found” items are overflowing and we need to lighten the load. We have lots of shorts, swim trunks, a few ladies bathing suits, lots of T-shirts, some really nice sweatshirts and jackets … even shoes and boots!! We will have them out over the next 2 weeks on tables at the Pool. Come take a look and see if any of the items belong to you. At the end of the 2 weeks everything will be donated to GoodWill Industries.
