Greetings Greater Toledo Pool Patrons —
Just a few more weeks before school starts! But FREE Rec Swims will continue through the end of August— so check the schedule and make sure and get to the Pool to enjoy it!! Summer Swim Lessons are also over for the season, so the schedule is a little more freed up for Lap Swimming and Independent Exercise. Check the schedule for the next 2 weeks and get your reservations made to book your favorite times to be in the water!!
With the dry Summer weather of August, many area wells start to run dry. If you’d like to conserve water at home, you can always come to the Pool and shower here. It’s a public service we enjoy providing. We do ask for $1.00 fee per shower, but if that would stop you … just let the Front Desk person know and we can always make exceptions. So … if you need to stretch your water, come shower at the Pool.
As we get closer to the start of September, it’s time again to start up the Tidal Wave Swim Club! If you are between 1st and 8th grade, and you like to swim — or would like to become an even better swimmer — consider joining the Greater Toledo Pool Swim Club. Tryouts and SignUp times begin soon. Our hiring campaign to recruit some new lifeguards for the Pool has paid off! We have candidates ready to take the Red Cross Lifeguard Certification training. In order to accomplish that, we will need to be closed the first weekend of September for Staff training — so, head up! This is the same time as the Labor Day weekend, which is late this year. We will be closed Friday thru Sunday, September 4th, 5th and 6th. Please check out the flyer and make a note of the closure times in your schedule! Thanks in advance.
