Swimming Pool Rules
- Parents Supervise Your Children:
No unsupervised diving. - Breath Holding:
No breath holding or extended underwater swimming. - Lifeguard Supervision:
No person will be allowed in the pool without a lifeguard on deck actively supervising. - No Smoking:
No smoking in the pool building. - Locker Room Rules:
Children 5 years of age and older must use their gender-appropriate locker room. - Assistance:
Contact a pool staff member if you require any assistance or accommodation. - Diaper Changing:
Diaper changing is only permitted in the locker rooms. - Gum:
No gum is allowed in the pool. - Spitting:
Spitting is prohibited on the pool deck, in the pool, or in the locker rooms. - Profanity:
Profanity will not be tolerated at any time. - Inappropriate Behavior:
Any acts construed as sexual in nature are strictly prohibited. Offenders will be asked to leave immediately. - Rough Play:
No rough play, including pushing others into the pool, is allowed in the facility. - Dunking:
Dunking is prohibited. - Flips:
No flips from any surface into the pool. - Lane Lines and Life Lines:
Swimmers must stay off lane lines and life lines unless it is an emergency. - Pool Toys and Equipment:
Use of pool toys and equipment is at the discretion of the lifeguard, depending on pool conditions and swimmer volume. No standing on pool toys. - Basketball Hoop:
The basketball hoop is for use by swimmers in the water only. No shooting, dunking from the deck, or hanging on the rim.
Health and Safety Notices
- Protect Our Water:
Do not use the pool if you have had diarrhea in the past two weeks or have a disease communicable by water. - Showering:
Shower yourself and your child before entering the pool and after using the toilet. - Swim Diapers:
Swimmers who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper. - Immuno-Compromised Individuals:
Use caution when using a public pool. - Water and Alcohol:
No person under the influence of alcohol may use the pool.
Prohibited Activities
- Running or Rough Play:
No running or rough play in or around the pool. - Glass and Plastic:
No glass or plastic items that could shatter. - Food and Drink:
No food or drink in the pool. - Diving:
No diving allowed except under the supervision of an approved instructor in a designated diving area. - Animals:
No animals are allowed in the pool area.
