Greater Toledo Pool Patrons:
2026 is underway!! The schedule for the Pool for the month of January is attached. It looks very much like our regular Winter schedule from December … open Sunday through Friday and CLOSED on Saturdays. Saturdays during the month are available to rent for private events or birthday parties, etc.
One difference going forward is that we’ve decided to make our Rec Swim times FREE for anyone coming to take part in the recreational open times at the Pool. We very much want our patrons here in the District to take fuller advantage of the Pool. So … going forward Rec Swim times will be FREE on Wednesday afternoons, Sunday afternoons and Special Events.
Two other things to look for in the near future are:
1) “Water Fun and Fitness” events to start taking place during Rec Swim times. I will be reaching out to our local schools, businesses and organizations over the coming weeks to organize events and activities for both kids, teens and adults!! We want everyone to use the pool more; and have some FUN while doing it!! Stay tuned!; and,
2) I will be working with our Staff and Toledo Elementary School (TOES) to find times to schedule Water Safety and Swim Lessons for the younger grades at the school. It takes a tremendous amount of creativity, flexibility and ingenuity between our Staff and the school tight schedule at the school to make everything come together for lessons to happen — but we’re going to be working tirelessly to make it come about.
Also, if you are wanting lessons for your child or yourself, the Staff at the Pool is open to giving private lessons or to organize other group lessons if the scheduling challenges with TOES take a while.
We want everyone who wants to, to find ways to come and enjoy the Pool!!
