Here is is Valentines’ Day weekend already!! In celebration of this cultural holiday we are sponsoring FREE Rec Swim times both Sunday and Monday
(since there’s no school)!! Please bring the family or invite friends and come and enjoy the warm water and enjoy some free snacks and beverages in celebration of Valentines Day. See the flyer below for details. It’s not a big falderal ,,, just a time to enjoy a FREE afternoon swim at the Pool!
We were hoping to offer Swim Lessons after the Holiday to Toledo Elementary (TOES), but the staff and students aren’t quite ready yet. Hopefully we will be offering classes to TOES sometime after Spring Break. So in the interim we want to offer Swim Lessons open to the Public and see if there is enough interest to form classes for a variety of ages. Lessons will run from February 14th – through March 19th … ending just before Spring Break for LCSD schools.
We will need interested parents to come to the pool in person to register this coming week if you would like to sign up any children for lessons. Because of the quick turn-around required, the online registration from the website will be temporarily unavailable. Hope to see all interested families next week for sign-up!
With the HVAC system back in great running order, the Pool will be open its regular Winter Hours this next week! (See next week’s schedule below.)
