Greater Toledo Pool Patrons: We’ve had a busy week at the Pool this week — lap swimmers, aerobics, Swim Club, Rec Swims, Swim Lessons, a birthday party …!! It’s nice to see people using the Pool. That’s what it’s here for and we encourage everyone to check out our schedule and find time to come enjoy it! Read on about some of the highlights of what’s been going on!

Swim Lessons are currently underway but we will be having another session starting after Spring Break. (See the flyer below that we had for this session — the times and dates will be different, but it shows you what classes are available.) If your child is currently enrolled in a class, and you want to continue onto the next session, you will have “first chance” to sign up before we open general registration to the regular public. So be on the lookout for the flyer on the next session that will be coming out the week of Spring Break. We will post it here, on FaceBook and on our website www.greatertoledopool.org, and flyers will be at the Pool. Since lessons are always on a “first come, first served” basis, registration paperwork and payment is required at the time you sign up at the Pool.
We had a fun family Birthday Party Event at the Pool this weekend and they were kind enough to let us take some photos! (See below) If you are interested in renting the pool for a birthday, family event or a group gathering of any sort … contact the Pool (541-336-3183) and our Staff will be happy to help you. You can also pick up the Rental Agreement form at the pool in advance as well. We schedule most events on Saturdays or Sundays. Check it out!!

We had the chance this week to share information at Toledo Elementary’s (TOES) “Resource and Book Night” this past week. It was great to be able to meet a lot of our District families and talk about everything going on at the Pool. We were able to highlight our “Swim Safely” program that we conduct in the summers, share information about Swim Lessons and the upcoming FREE Rec Swims, and handed out our signature “rubber duckies” that we’ve enjoyed giving away at our community events. We will be hosting other events in the coming months to share information about the Pool Renovation Project so keep an eye out for information coming out later this Spring and Summer!
The weekly schedule looks very similar to the last few weeks — the only change is that we’re going to have a FREE Rec Swim on Monday since there’s NO SCHOOL! (See the flyer below)
I hope everyone has a great week ahead. Plan to visit the Pool soon … Come make a SPLASH!
