Our Team

Hal and his wife are Toledo residents who retired here in 2017, and he’s been active as a substitute teacher for the last few years in LCSD. He has a BA in Business/Human Resources and did his Masters work in Sales and Marketing.  Outside of work he likes to cook, garden and swim, as well as spend time with the extended family that brought him to Toledo.

My name is Rider and I started swimming competitively at the Newport pool, where I learned the fundamentals of being a swimmer. Now I work and swim at the Toledo pool. I enjoy tons of outdoor activities, especially biking. It’s a pleasure joining such an amazing team. I’ve had a great time working here and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

I am a Lifeguard, I have worked here for 12 years.

Hi my name is Ryan, I started working at the pool shortly after we re-opened from our COVID closure in May 2020. But after re-opening in 2021 I’ve been very eager to get people swimming! And love the community Toledo provides!

Hi my name is Tiger. I am a lifeguard, WSI certified swim instructor and also a water aerobics instructor. I have roughly 10 years experience in lifeguarding, 5 years as a swim instructor and just over a year teaching water aerobics.
